14 June 2007: The Commission has today adopted a European Action Plan for "Ageing Well in the Information Society" - this includes the adoption of the Ambient Assisted Living Joint Programme:

March 2007: An AAL open day was held on 21 March 2007 in Brussels to inform further European countries on the forthcoming AAL programme. Presentations are available from
